You can prepare this smoked chicken and pasta salad ahead of time. Just make sure you mix all the ingredients thoroughly before serving. If you want to prepare the salad for a party, I recommend that you double or triple the ingredients so you can feed a crowd (the proportions in the recipe are for 4 small portions).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color:#c69f74\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Smoked chicken salad - substitutes&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Smoked chicken breast - smoked chicken or turkey thigh will also work. As a last resort, you can use ham to make the salad (it will, however, slightly change the taste).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pasta - medium sized pasta works best (make sure you don\u2019t overcook it). If you want to make a gluten-free salad, feel free to add cooked rice instead of pasta.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grapes and toasted sunflower seeds - sweet grapes and crunchy sunflower seeds work great with the other ingredients, so I don\u2019t recommend substituting them with the other products.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you like fruit components in
