Be sure to choose a well-ripened, very sweet watermelon. This way, you won\u2019t need to add much extra sweetener.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Water - you can use either filtered\/mineral water or sparkling water for this recipe. Choose whatever you prefer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Additions - I recommend adding a few fresh mint leaves for a refreshing touch. A few slices of lemon and plenty of ice are essential! You can also add watermelon wedges for decoration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5a8f125e0ebce53f38ba73dba46370b8\" style=\"color:#c69f73\"><br>Do I have to add linden syrup?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Linden syrup is a nice addition because it has a delicate floral taste but isn\u2019t unnecessary. If you have it at home, definitely add it to the lemonade. Otherwise, you can substitute it with runny honey. Sweeten the drink to your taste, as it depends a lot on how sweet your watermelon is. I suggest adding the sweetener little by little and tasting it as you go.
