Rhubarb & strawberry smoothie

A delicious rhubarb smoothie that uses only four easily accessible ingredients!

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g rhubarb
  • 200 g strawberries
  • 200 ml almond milk
  • 1-2 tbsp cane sugar

Instructions
 

  • Wash the rhubarb stalks thoroughly and cut them into small pieces. Transfer them to a small saucepan with a little water (just enough not to stick to the bottom). Simmer until tender for about 5 minutes. Set them aside for a few minutes.
  • In the meantime, wash the strawberries, remove the stalks and cut them into smaller pieces.
  • Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend to obtain the creamy smoothie. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk and adjust to your liking.
