Moon milk for a good night’s sleep

A drink known from Ayurvedic traditions, it combines relaxing properties with a delicate taste that warms you up on cold winter evenings.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 ml of milk or plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp powdered ashwagandha
  • 1 tsp beetroot powder
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of cardamom
  • freeze-dried raspberries (for topping)

Instructions
 

  • Gently heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching. Ensure the milk becomes warm but not hot.
  • Add the beetroot powder, ashwagandha, cinnamon, and cardamom. Stir until well combined and the milk takes on a smooth pink hue.

  • Remove from the heat, then stir in the honey until fully dissolved.
  • Pour into your favourite mug. Optionally top with frothed milk and a sprinkle of crushed freeze-dried raspberries. Enjoy your cosy, nourishing drink perfect for chilly days!
