Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a medium bowl, combine the crumble ingredients, set aside.
Wash the cherries, cut them into halves and remove the stones.
In a bowl combine the dry ingredients: wholemeal wheat flour, wheat flour, sugar, baking powder and soda.
In a large bowl, using a kitchen whisk or hand mixer combine the melted butter, eggs and milk. Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Line a muffin tin with muffin paper cups, then fill each of them with the batter approx halfway. Add 2-3 cherry halves, cover with a second layer of batter and add an additional 2-3 cherry halves on top. Finally, sprinkle the crumble over.
Bake your muffins for about 20-25 minutes or until dry toothpick. Enjoy!
