Ingredients
3big apples(or 6 small)
50goats
70gwholemeal wheat flour
30gdates
20gdried cranberries
20gwalnuts
60gbutter
1tsp sugar(or coconut sugar)
½tsp cinnamon
pinch of ground cloves
6tsp jam(low sugar)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Finely chop the dates, cranberries, walnuts, and place them in a bowl. Add oats, flour, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and ground cloves. Mix all the ingredients, make sure that butter is completely combined with the other ingredients.
Cut the apples in half lengthwise and get rid of the core using a spoon. Add one tsp of cherry jam into each apple half (or ½ tsp if you use six apples instead of three). Divide the oat mixture between the apples (it goes on top of the cherry jam).
Place your apples on a baking tray. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and tender. Serve them warm, optionally with a scoop of ice cream.
