This oven-baked chicken wings recipe is an amazing option for a weekend lunch, especially if you don't want to spend too much time in the kitchen. Preparation won't take you longer than 15 minutes. While your chicken wings are in the oven, you can put together your favourite side dish. Simple, uncomplicated lunch. That’s what I’m looking for!

Oven-baked chicken wings in maple mustard marinade
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp hot mustard
- 1 tsp dried sweet paprika
- salt to taste
- pinch of pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- In a small bowl combine all the marinade ingredients: olive oil, maple syrup, lemon juice, minced garlic, mustard, dried red pepper, salt and, black pepper.
- Pat the wings dry with a paper towel and place them on a baking tray/rack. Coat them with the marinade. Make sure that the marinade is spread evenly.
- Bake your chicken wings for about 45-60 min (make sure that meat is cooked through). I recommend checking them after 45 min, if needed, keep them in the oven for a few more minutes.
