A strawberry dessert – simple, quick, and absolutely addictive. It’s one of those treats you can whip up in just a few minutes using only a handful of ingredients – yet it tastes so good, you’ll wonder how you ever got through strawberry season without it. Sweet, juicy strawberries mashed just enough to leave visible chunks of fruit. Paired with a creamy mascarpone and Greek yoghurt filling, rich with vanilla and balanced by a subtle tang. All topped off with buttery crushed biscuits. Simple, but surprisingly delicious. And truly, you can make it in 15 minutes, stopwatch in hand.

Strawberry dessert – can I make it ahead of time?
This dessert is best served fresh, right after it’s assembled. However, if you want to save time, you can prep all the components in advance and layer them just before serving. It only takes a moment to put everything together.
Can I use a different fruit?
Absolutely! This dessert works wonderfully with most summer fruits – raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, even peaches. And just imagine how amazing it would be with fragrant blackcurrants – a real game-changer. Just keep in mind that if your fruit is more tart, you might want to add a touch more sugar.

Strawberry dessert
Ingredients
Cream
- 130 g tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 70 g mascarpone
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract (natural)
Strawberry layer
- 200 g strawberries
- 2 tsp sugar*
Biscuit layer
- 30 g biscuits
- ½ tbsp butter (melted)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the Greek yoghurt, mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly – using a whisk or mixer on low speed – until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and uniform. Place in the fridge while you prepare the other layers.
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then transfer them to a bowl. Add the sugar and mash with a fork – the result should be a thick purée with chunks of fruit still visible.
- Finely crush the biscuits (a ziplock bag and rolling pin work well), transfer to a bowl, and mix with the melted butter until you get a slightly moist, crumbly texture.
- In glasses, dessert cups, or small jars, layer the components: a spoonful of biscuit crumbs, a layer of vanilla cream, and a layer of mashed strawberries. You can top it with extra fruit for garnish. Serve immediately after assembling – that’s when it tastes best.
