Frittata with tomatoes - the perfect recipe to start your day with a tasty and nutritious breakfast. This dish is prepared using cherry tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, two types of cheese (Brie and Mozzarella), oregano, fresh basil, and of course, eggs. Not only is a frittata easy to prepare, but it's also healthy and filling, meaning you won't feel hungry for a long time. This breakfast will surely make every morning more pleasant.

Frittata with tomatoes

Frittata is an Italian egg dish often compared to an omelette or a Spanish tortilla. The basic ingredients of a frittata are eggs, beaten with salt and pepper, to which various additions can be made, such as vegetables, cheese, meat, and even pasta or potatoes.

One of the greatest advantages of a frittata is its versatility. You can prepare a frittata with almost any ingredient you have on hand, making it a great way to use up leftovers from the fridge. It can be served both warm and cold, presenting a great option for breakfast, brunch, a light lunch, or even as a snack.

I'm not surprised that this is such a popular breakfast choice. This popularity is mainly due to its simplicity of preparation and its adaptability to various diets and taste preferences, including gluten-free and vegetarian options.

If I haven't yet convinced you to try the frittata recipe, I think this piece of news will. Yes! The frittata can be successfully prepared the day before. For me, this is very important, as mornings are usually a race against time 😀
