This easy puff pastry recipe is a great dessert to serve for unexpected guests or when you crave something sweet, quick, and easy to prepare. It’s not only delicious but also beautiful, and no one will believe how simple this recipe is.

Let’s be honest here, it’s not the healthiest, low caloric option. But you know what, as long as you don’t make this puff pastry every week it's not a big crime. Also, make sure you use good quality ingredients. Use either store-bought pastry dough (no judgement here) or homemade dough. Of course, it’s perfect if you can prepare your dough from scratch, but we all know… it’s not always possible. And today we go for the easiest option. Make sure your dough is thawed if using a frozen one. Also, choose a good quality store-bought puff pastry with butter instead of palm oil (check the label).

Salted pistachios can be overly salty, therefore I recommend using the unsalted ones and add a pinch of salt. This way, you can easily control the taste, and adjust it by adding more or less salt.
